From Sound to Stars & Galaxies

Figure 13 : The evolution of the sound spectrum well beyond fog clearing shows how the "sound" quickly begins to match the dark matter. Ultimately, when the variations have grown sufficiently large, collapse ensues and in a hierarchy of assembly, the shortest wavelengths turn into stars; the next longer waves foster galaxies; longer waves spawn galaxies, and the deepest waves are still creating the tapestry of galaxies.
