Consuming extremely potent mint oils kind of feels like getting punched in the face by a giant altoid. I once drank a small amount of peppermint extract, which although was mostly alcohol, still was peppermint at an extremely high concentration. It was quite the experience.
I routinely put 1 or 2 drops of pure peppermint oil in my mouth and it's really not that bad

Each time Nile do an edible chem, I'm afraid that it would be his last video. It would be a shame, since they are great. But I'm quite uncomfortable with someone eating large dose of wintergreen, extracted from mixture of methanol and sulfuric acid, and not distilled on top of it.

@cellogirl11RW Actually, there's at least 10 times more theobromine than caffeine in chocolate, and the estimated LD50 of caffeine in humans is 150-200 mg/kg while theobromine is around 1000 mg/kg, which is only 5-7 times more.
And anyways, the additive effects of both xanthines would kill you before you reach either threshold.
Also if you weigh 70 kg it would take around 30 kg of pure cocoa powder to kill you purely from theobromine, which no human can fit into their stomach. But there have been cases of death (or near death) from acute chocolate consumption caused by underlying health conditions (see ChubbyEmu's video: https://youtu.be/EIzAshQdWeo ).
Won't the sugar or the cocoa butter kill you first? I'm sure that consuming massive amounts of sugar is not healthy at all
sigh You can overdose on anything, even water. Drink 6 litres in one sitting and you have a 50% chance of dying. Balance is everything.
