How deep are we talking ?. Pressure eqaulising can result in you dieing. Disorientation,rapid climb to the surface are also a major concern.

@bul166 I may have been confusing it with diving. If you go deep diving and are in a high pressure enviroment for long periods of time a rapid accent to the surface is deadly.
