Personally I use a few supplements here and there: A magnesium supplement because I suspect the food supply is deficient in this and a Zinc & Copper supplement if I've drank alcohol or did a lot of exercise (both these are all Zinc depleting activities.) I have fish or fish eggs relatively frequently, but if it's been a while without it then I'll take some iodine. Other than that, I have an assortment of supplements that I'll take only if I'm drinking. I work at a factory that makes dietary supplements. I am literally watching this in the break room of the company that makes some of these pills.
@Brian Fong stfu and go back to reddit you 80 iq imbecile
Wow, that's kinda cool. You get to witness firsthand their chicanery.
He probably got fired or assassinated!
@G FPV Thanks for this tip! I had no idea about folic acid vs folate... buying supplements is like navigating a landmine field.
@Pale Feather Valdez I really hope you have grown up since you wrote that reply.
I thought this video was by Chubbyemu for a minute there at the start lol
No the title should have been
This guy used vitamins and this is what happened to his penis
Haha samee
Except chubby always start with "Initials is a (insert typical human status)"
He would have said “gc presented to the hospital with”
same
I'm on the Caveman Diet, where I only eat wooly mammoths and grass
cavemen eat mostly homemade hotdogs
so that's what happened to them
And im all out of grass. That would have been the best finisher for your statement there. You can go ahead and edit your comment now. I don't mind.
@Zakk Hann Haha you're right that would've been great
@Danny Sullivan Music im glad you like it. I can now rest in peace...farewell my friend
6:35 I just can't stand seeing all that avocado leftover on the peels D':

@Christopher Wallbank EXACTLY muhahaha
thats just a model doing videography, i'm glad we've been watching carefully ...
Why is it so hard to be a healthy human! 😭
Because of the FDA, and scientists and big pharma and corporate farming
@Sov i run everyday, eat very healthy and am very fit. I still have depression...
Not that hard... just eat normal and local food, move and don't stress too much about be extremly healthy :)
It is not.
@Don Hopper From a biological standpoint we do not have free will. All our actions are the sum of our genes, surrounding, upbringing, etc.
wow that's crazy man, have you ever tried 5 Methoxy Di-methyl Tryptamine?
5-MeO-DMT <3
It's entirely possible that he has
Yes, I have. It was crazy, man.
Oh! 100 percent
Needs to be in a supplement at store
There is a special place in hell for people who desecrate avocado like this 06:33 !

This woman peeling avocados is doing it so wrong .Drove me mad. She is wasting so much of most nutritious part of the fruit !!!
'eat the peel, don't be a numb nuts.' -check it out with dr. steve brule
@frankacuso research doesnt happen in our corporate world without sponsors. who would sponsor positive research of avocados? hmm the avocado industry
@C 5quared Ok fatass
@Tiss fant ok piss pants
Yes, how dare she throw away the peel! Dang womprat!
Magnesium deficiency is the second most common deficiency in developed countries, the first being vitamin D.
The first is, and always has been, C.
lelwut if you eat carbohydrate rich diets you need plenty C as glucose displaces vitamin C at the cell level. If you do keto or carnivore diets vit. C needs are much lower
Ive got a great source of D for you.
@Kaya Jin you need magnesium to help your body in converting the cholesterol into hormone d. So yes there is a relationship between magnesium and vitamin d.
what about Zinc deficiency?
Whole foods - compound exercises
Supplements - Isolation exercises
Focus on the former and do a little of the latter to round it out
One of the best comments here
Based and fitpilled
That's me now in my 40s. Between cycling, sports and manual labor, I concentrate much less on working out. And I don't claim any certain diet, just borrow from them, keeping a strict discipline, no fads.
I like this. Nice.
Deep sleep
I'd love for you to design a diet based on what you know.
@goodmaki this tbh
I never take any supplements, vaccines or any pils in general and I wasn't been sick for more then 15 years. In fact in my whole life I was sick just a few times. What I do I just starve/water fast once per year for 2 weeks or more and that's it. That's my secret for healthy life.
@Ben Kimmel plants by default cause inflammation.
@Joe Average What country do you live in, that matters greatly.
I-I don’t know what to believe anymore
So in conclusion: Eat normal (for europeans) and for americans eat "real" food
@Arburgill H You mean everywhere that isn't the U.S?
@Dr. λ the Typer of Terms when i went to Germany. Hardly saw any fat people. Generally people looked in shape, the fattest I saw was stocky. I was only there for no more than 2-3 days.
@Damhnaic I'm sure that for someone who's used to Americans the Germans are pretty thin. However compared to what's natural for humans Germans tend to be fat.
@Dr. λ the Typer of Terms i have been to America once. But perhaps it has to do with the area of Germany I went to, Hamburg and Dortmund. But I have seen videos of my friend stationed in Germany with the army at the local bar, in that vid there was more overweight people than what I saw myself so that changed my initial image.
Of course our ancestors were very lean back in the day.
@Sebastian Meyer I'm European too but you're being a huge knob about this info
Every single supplement I've ever seen has some variant of the text "doesn't make up for shitty diet" on the package. You don't need to be a genius to suss out the meaning.
$72.40 You've saved $23.34
return to beginning of trolley
You dont need to be a genius to know the definition of supplement...
The supp company is not asking people to shun food and start taking supplements. It's for those who may be lacking nutrients in their diet or even lacking time to prepare wholesome home cooked food
Its called a supplement. Use it that way.
@schramschram So cancel 'em and see how your body can do it without supps now.. its like an addiction.. but worse... its your health
Yes I believe in supplements. In northern states we hardly get any sun so they tell us to take one d3 a day
@schramschram So maybe you had a vitamine D deficiency? It's not uncommon thing during winter, especially in northern hemisphere, and especially for people who spend their working days in office.
@hope king Didn't used to be like that, but now everyone has the metabolism of a sloth so you need five layers just to not die in freezing temperatures.
This vid has proven that some supplements are dangerous. Folic Acid and Calcium supplements, for example.
i dont know, living in a nation where it rains 50 percent of the time, is cloudy 90 percent of the time, and the winter lasts half a year, you simply have to rely on supplements, at least during the worst periods.
*Laughs in Arizonan*
Look at all these vitamin D lacking peasants
You get natural vitamin D from raw meat, like the inuit, just eat raw carobiou, yummy.
Or eggs, eat eggs, the best food ever.
@Pedro Ruschel A really late reply, but perhaps it's still helpful. In the Netherlands you literally cannot get enough vitamin D from the sun in the winter. If you're young this is usually okay, because during summer your body can save enough to get through the winter. But it's recommended to take supplements of 1000IU Vitamin D3 2-3 times per week, or 10 µg per day (400IU). However I just read that a study showed that supplements do increase the Vitamin D levels, but not necessarily help with the benefits for your bones etc. So it is still recommended to go outside as much as possible. If youre worried, you can get your vitamin levels checked at the GP!
Doesnt mean you cant eat real food...just another excuse
xxx always take Vitamin D3 and in combination with K2
I save you 15min : eat well, real and different food, and use supplements as supplement, not as replacement.
Where are the Simpsons clips dude >:( I demand more Homer!
jk, love your work
You are on top. We need more likes for him to notice!
@John Chan He noticed :)
My eyesight is going. Couldn't see the r in Homer from only a meter away..
nope I hate the simspons clips.
Vitamin D...onut.
Please make a video on books one should read about health or the best ones from your book list.
Chitranjan Baghi definitley.
@Andreas Brainwashed not just hyped just as the big corporations want them to be.
Read UnDoctored, WheatBelly from Dr William Davis, all Gary Null books, Dr Bruce Fife on Coconut oil for reversing Alzheimer’s.
Food: what the heck you should eat! By Dr. Mark Hyman incase you still looking.
Weston price:nutrition and physical degeneration.
Vilhjamur stefansson:The fat of the land.
pottenger cats study in youtube.
anything aside that, is garbage.
Tbh I don't really feel like researching everything, I just want you to tell me how to live.
exactly, just too much information, make me more confuse
Omega 3, vitamin D and magnesium are my main choices for supplements
Ivan Ivanow actually you never get enough from the sun. not to mention the UV rays that will Damage you far more than it can help. Don’t stay under direct sunlight for too long specially without sunscreen.
@Ivan Ivanow Because most of our skin is covered under clothes and we tend to spend most of the time inside, so we don;t get anywhere near enough sun exposure for sufficient vitamin D production.
@Ata Actually we in Mexico and all places from there and below get more than enough sunlight.
@Maik Kiehlmann For pale skin people, not so much if you have dark skin unless of course the ozone layer in the area is damaged.
Pepe Eat chocolate for mg :P
I’m done, pizza for every meal for now on.
Lol!
That's 3 times the amount of vegetables you should be taking
The Super Food!!!!
LOL
pizza for every meal? Why do you want to kill yourself?
At 3:26 I just want to point out that you cannot infer statistical significance from a regression scatter plot which is what is shown in the video. For that, you need to check either the p-value, t score or confidence interval. But I will assume that you checked that in the paper already.
EDIT: I actually checked the paper and this scatter plot does NOT have statistical significance set by the researchers of 5%. Even in the paper, they acknowledge this is not statistically significant.
*Conclusion*: Don't trust everything you hear on youtube because chances are people don't know what they're talking about.
Regression scatter plot? Looks like a simple line graph to me. I think you might have overthought that one to death.
@Pete it's a scatter plot of regression with time-series data. Also, it is not statistically significant as claimed in the video (I checked).
soonsims thank you for checking. Don’t believe everything you hear on the internet. One is responsible for checking if something makes sense
I get all the nutrients I need from fried chicken and chocolate milk
Hey WIL, could you make a video about how you do your research?
@SamIsOnline but his video appears to have good and structured content. And from where he is getting that idea.
Google scholar + Sci-hub
Go do your own research, that's the best way
BUMPP
Seems he lives in Japan and do research in nutritional science
This is an isolated incident though. Do we know her medical history, any medications she was taking, family history, etc.?
It's too complex, I don't understand, but what I've learned is it's better for you to eat whole natural food than take suplement to fulfill your nutrition needs.
You can ALWAYS rely on whole foods to get your nutrients. Don't listen to anybody saying you need supplements. They are either uninformed or trying to push a product.
from what I understand, the video is telling you "make sure you use supplement as 'supplement'." ........duh
There are many nutrients you simply can’t get from an even healthy diet. Supplementing is highly recommended by many biomedical scientists and doctors focused on longevity of the human body.
I never take any supplements, vaccines or any pils in general and I wasn't been sick for more then 15 years. In fact in my whole life I was sick just a few times. What I do I just starve/water fast once per year for 2 weeks or more and that's it. That's my secret for healthy life.
pam0077 b12 is hard to digest, if you don't have enough stomach acid you won't absorb it from foods.
Taking vitamin supplements is a waste time. You can get all the vitamins you need by selecting whole foods based on an encyclopedic knowledge of incredibly subtle, complex and often contradictory nutritional science.
@Joe Average I do both, take vitamins and fast. I think the cause of disease and sickness comes from humans not consuming enough vitamins and also cramming down food almost three times a day for seven days a week. The digestive system can never get a break, relax and or repair itself if we keep eating so much food each and every day.
Finally my person here. I’ve been trying to tell my boyfriend that but he was brought up eating vitamins and other supplements 🤦🏻♀️ it’s not just a waste of time. It’s a waste of money and space
@Aaron Briggs Magnesium is not a Vitamin, it is a mineral.
@Aaron Briggs you completely missed James Flames irony & admitedly sarcastic humour - he's actually advocating supplements because he knows nobody has encyclopedic nutritional scientific knowledge etc.....it's you who has 'ignorantly' missed the humour !!!
had me in the first line, ngl.
Vitamin K2 is CRITICAL in the proper metabolism of calcium. Do the research where Dr. John Whitcomb has a very good talk on this subject.
(I steam my kale, etc. Only a few lighter foods - bok choy- are eaten raw, in moderation)
K2 is particularly important when supplementing with Vit D.
Just eat eggs they have everthing you need. It's not hard. Drink raw
You can get K2 from vitamin K. If you eat a healthy diet, it isn't necessary to supplement for it
@matthew gonano drums Raw eggs only have half the bioavailable protein of cooked eggs. Cooked eggs are best.
Its called "Supplement" for a reason.
Multivitamins don't work properly because most of the vitamins and minerals lower the absorption or counteract eachother
True but in the end it's better than none at all. Taking D with K2 lowers the K2 absorption by half yet if that person would forget to or not take the K2 at all, it's still better than nothing. Make things too complicated and normal people won't follow it. It's a necessary price sometimes, happens with many things in life.
K2 isn't necessary. We can get K2 from vit k. I just eat leafy greens and don't worry about K2
13:00 That mineral wheel is amazing! I never thought that there could be such a simple relation between minerals. Just to confirm, an excess of Calcium can cause Magnesium deficiency and vice-versa, right?
The whole book is great!
Yup, Calcium and Magnesium oppose each other
You'll often find Calcium supplements as "Cal Mag"
What book is that? Was it confirmed by recent research?
@M P Nah, they just winged it.
@M P
Not sure whatsup with youtube, but I meant to comment that only once...
Me, relying on my supplements as my main source of nutrients with an ED:
D:
Jk omg
So much avocado on the peels...
I’m shook 😳
You drop it. I watch it.
He drops 💩 it. You eat it up😂 .
I'm pretty sure I know less now than I did before watching this. I'm going to McDonald's.
Personally:
-just focus on having enough green leafy veggies as well as others, fish(salmon and tuna), chicken seeds, beans, and fruit
-then supplement with defieciency: viamtin d3(5,000 ius), zinc, and creatine(5g)
-also have vitamins and foods with fats(so 2-3 meals a day)
Things I need to add/do:
-eat only 2-3 meals/day
-have veggies/vitamins with meal instead of sepereately
-add brusell sprouts, broccoli and cod liver oil
-get a zinc + magnesium supplement
People with ARFID:
Guess I'll die
Bone Broth+coconut water+curcumin works for me. Your videos can be used to learn English. You articulate very well. It's a pleasure listening to you.
Enjoy the high levels of lead and other heavy metals commonly found in bone broth!
Make sure to have that curcumin with black-pepper. Piperine increases curcumin bioavailability by 20 times.
7:39 Don't give carrots to little bunnies!!! It's too much sugar, and it can cause fatal digestive issues.
The vitamin D supplement im taking is really helping me sleep, I was suffering from chronically low D.....vitamin B supplements are also helping. Whole foods and sunshine are great too....but i need the extra help.
you need magnesium to catapult the vitamin d in your body too.
Vitamins make my head spin. Just eat more leafy greens and minimise fried foods.
Alvin Lee I literally almost threw up after taking a multi once. I’ll stick to whole unprocessed foods thank you.
Nowadays fresh fruits and veggies aren't as nutritious as they are supposed to be due to poor farming methods. Same thing goes with the meat since the livestock is consuming poor quality food. If you grow your own foods or buy from a local farm then that is optimal, otherwise supplementation is recommended
Break the vitamin into smaller pieces and spread out the time you take them.
Cooked carrots in butter makes the beta carotene much more available to the human microbiome!
Liv'n Lujin the trans fats in well sourced animals are good for you. specifically it's CLA which has been known for many benefits and people are taking supplements for
@DoodleZen prefer a more natural source of fat and butter taste much better.
@DoodleZen more omega 3 in butter than olive oil omega 6.
@Steven Oostdijk who cares? Vegans are diffecent due to their own stupidity
Mmmm saturated fat made from Animal secretions
Iodine is also very important especially for pregnant mothers but its rarely talked about. Selenium is also important. Brazil Nuts :)
@N9ne Sure, if you go to the trouble to identify exactly where the Brazil nut trees that produced what you are eating were grown, and have an assay of the soil or the nuts verifying their selenium content, then that's a fine way to get selenium. I doubt that applies to very many consumers of Brazil nuts, however.
@Andrea Falconiero Thanks Andrea. I have been on and off the bus as to Selenium supps vs the 1-2 Brazil nuts/day. I need the caloreis, so have gone 'nuts'. But will begin to split my inputs between the nuts and the selenium.
Appreciate the tips on yeast vs elemental. I have a highest qual brand in my cabinet, bet it's yeast based (it's a capsule, as I recall)
Do you think it's necessary to take daily? Am beginning to think that may of these intakes could be interspersed through time, not all are drained from system each 24 hours, to be sure.
I realize the oily (D, E, A, etc) stick around longer . . . I believe in the liver? And the water soluble have little longevity...
You mean fish brains.
@Andrea Falconiero Old comment, but don't you find better to rely on fish for other foods? No so hard to get.
A farmer i knew had to supplement his cows with copper as his soils had very high levels of manganese, just a parallel to what your saying
1:55 I could have sworn the actual question was going to be if it is okay to eat people.
Can you do a video on the realities and the curing of hypertension
That lady cutting the avocado at 6:48 is a fail. Just peel it so you're not missing out on the greenest part! 🤦🏾♂️
When the clip available uses a hand model rather than a chef 👩🍳
Right?!
I just cut it in half and peel off the outside.
So , what brand or kind of cod liver oil do you recommend?
it’s great, thanks! one can’t find something like this in articles about nutritions or supplements we read usually. I will pay attention, otherwise I was going just to take all things I am deficient with.
Thanks for enlightening
What I've Learned - 2019-01-28
While soybean oil was what was used to reverse the gunshot wounded girl's ailments, I'm not saying you should get your omega-3's from soybean oil. The omega-6 to omega-3 ratio of soybean oil is in fact very poor, but it happened to be good enough to reverse the ailments caused by safflower oil which has an even worse 6:3 ratio.
Alexis Washginton - 2020-05-19
The Bronx compared to North Carolina
CARL iCON - 2020-06-21
thank you for pinning this clarification..while very interesting, you can't really compare a young girl with trauma on TPN, getting nutrients added directly to bloodstream, with the average individual getting their nutrition through the gastrointestinal tract. That's the same logic as saying, "I ate chicken soup & my cold went away so chicken soup must have cured the cold."
Rob Oppers - 2020-07-29
Limit oils and use a bit of flax seed and/or chia every day and your ratio is perfect
Diego Mendoza - 2020-08-15
This is just superb, I've been looking for "is it okay to eat spaghetti for breakfast?" for a while now, and I think this has helped. Ever heard of - Dansaac Unflappable Dominance - (do a google search ) ? It is a smashing one of a kind guide for discovering how to find the best food to balance your hormones and blast away your fat spots without the hard work. Ive heard some awesome things about it and my cousin got great results with it.

So Calcium Supplements suck with blood clotting covid...
