I worked in One of the best DNA research Intitute in Japan named "Kihara Institute for Biological Research" and there was some proven studies and academy researchers that made a long work with specialists where they proved that the Tardigrades are biologically immortal. They die only if they are crushed by something or attacked with strong acid. The telomeres of the tardigrades never degenerate, so it means they never get old and their cells are constantly being replaced by young cells. The organisms have origin for millions years ago and develop a very advanced metabolism. Nothing similar as the humans.

Being completely immortal just means you can play with reality.
