To be honest this video can be interpreted in 3 ways
1. You are a insignificant dot in a giant history
2. You are lucky to be alive in such a great day and age

It literally means that your life means nothing. You're just a collection of cells, no one will remember you in a blink of an eye compared to all of history. Unless there's more to life, which there would have to be a creator that made us for purpose
In which all 3 ways are pure nonsense there are only two possibilities either there is a God who designed everything with a purpose or either nothing brought everything and spontaneous generation occurred and our existence is meaningless and without purpose. And clearly the first possibility makes more sense but people hate it because they don’t want to know that they will be held responsible for their deeds and that they are to operate under a given law.

The permanent death of the universe isn't technically guaranteed. We don't really know what came before the big bang and some people believe that creation and death occurs in cycles. b.) These events, regardless, are far far into the future and c.) Even if we all are doomed to experience death, there is some comfort in knowing that it's a shared experience that we all, to some degree, go through together.
