Overview and simplified synthesis procedure of [bis]Aminoguanidine Ni Diperchlorate aka NAP. Powerful new primary. The best kept secret of current energetic materials research.
The Man, The Myth, The Legend. HE'S BACK. WITH CHEMISTRY.
I couldn't be more excited.
Amatuer Energetics Community is a phrase I never thought I would hear but am so glad I did.
I am so glad I rewatched this. I was so close to trying the butthole energetics. Thanks for heads up. You’re a life saver.
it's too toxic. dont do it
My god, the king is back
The king is dead long live the king!
I am so happy to see you back online! Funny timing of your topic- I have a couple explosives focused podcast episodes planned out for the near future.
missed you dudes so much that I had to come back and train everyone on explosives
@@duganashley1337where are you getting your Amino at ? Everywhere I’ve seen is ridiculously expensive.
Glad my monthly search turned up fruitful.
Just found your channel! Im so glad youre doing better and carnikcon will always have a special place in my mind
I'm glad to see you're doing well & spreading knowledge again.
Lookin good brother. Thanks for sharing. I appreciate it.
I have no idea what you just said but it's good to see the Dugan Ashley wit interlaced within.
It’s so good to see you again. Thank you for everything you do.
I just discovered this channel randomly and I must say how excited I am to have found it! Seriously, this is incredible content! I love doing stuff like this and NAP really looks promising! Im going to be watching all your videos! Thanks for the content, I really appreciate it!
Bro doesn’t know the legend Dugan Ashley
@thdoorhingeisorange Yes that's correct, I am not aware of it. I would love to know it tho! In fact I'd love to meet the guy as well! I run a lab in indiana (@BDXLabs) and I'm always working on side projects I'm always looking to collaborate with smart people and learn from brilliant minds!

Great seeing you back in here dropping knowladge, as usual. First time actually subbing to one of your many channels, but am here for the ride as always!
Brother, I just stumbled on your channel. Very impressed. I hope all goes well. Your probably the most intuitive youtube channel out there. Speaking verbally of course. Allchem aka Energy un leashed which i believe are the same person ranks right up there with you. Thank you for your content. Although i do not partake, due to personal reasons. You provide extensive, extremely, entertaining, energetic compound synthesis content, and you provide it with information that is helpful and intuitive. Ty😊
Looking good brother👍🤙
So pleased you're back uploading content. Looking well champ.
I'm SO glad you're doing better! I knew you were into energetics, but not to this degree, awesome! I've been messing around with a bunch of amine perchlorates and their complexes recently, hygroscopicity is definitely a problem with them though.
HE HAS RETURNED
PRAISE BE
I love how obvious the potential of this complex seems in hindsight.
•More N2 = more pressure / brisance
•Ni(2+) just loves having 4 nitrogen lone pairs around itself
•Aminoguanidine = "what if urea, but we replace the carbonyl with an imide and the amine with hydrazine?"
•Add strongly oxidizing counter-ion
Only downside I could see is that the perchlorate would limit its usefulness as a primer by being corrosive… sure, some people might be allergic to nickel, but when compared to lead-salt primers (especially lead azide, where both ions are highly toxic), it doesn't seem like much of an issue.
Love you, man. I'm so happy to see you doing well.
Glad you are doing better.
I'll still bump the ak song from time to time! edit: Hell Im'a do it now
Thank you for the upload. Thank you for your effort and time..
Looking good, dude. Welcome back, at least for now.
All I heard was we're getting some new bang sauce!! Keep on going on Dugan!
Holy shit I just found your account again and I'm so glad you're doing ok. Going back and binge watching your videos on this account to see what I missed.
glad to see youre making videos. one thing i will say is most nickel salts are carcinogenic in addition to being somewhat toxic. i dont think lead has the issue of carcinogenicity if youre outside california, but also toxic
Holy shit... you came back as a bomb making biker. Welcome back, Dugan. Wlecome back indeed.
I’ve missed that beautiful face. Dugan, my beloved
Awesome video! Wow this is the first I've heard of this. Btw it's usually pronounced like "carboneel".
I love nitrotetrazole and had a video but it was taken down by youtube. I love silver 5-nitrotetrazole
This is some crazy shit like usual, glad to see him
Love this video. You are THE MAN.
Dude I am so happy to see you. I miss you. I love you. And hope you and the family are healthy and well. I salute you my friend 🫡 this content is amazing
Thanks!
Amazing 😍 videos
Love you brother ❤️
Very cool to see you back on here bro. Been a fan for quite awhile. In my reading up trying to find your new channel i realized we were in Germany at the same time. I was an hour east of you in Darmstadt but it's possible we may have crossed paths if you spent any time in the field in Graf (The thought of that place still makes my teeth itch). Glad to see you're doing well Brother!
glad to hear. Yes, Grafenwohr and Hohenfels for training. I PCSd to the USA in 2007.
dug you should throw some of your own music behind these vids for some spice. Glad to see you are doing so well.
Awesome, thank you man
good job!

God damn brother fuckin stocked i came accross this! Hope you and yours are doin great!
If I am not mistaken, the carbonate grade for ceramics is not NiCO3 (CAS 3333-67-3) but 2 NiCO3.3 Ni(OH)2.4 H2O (CAS 12244-51-8) or NiCO3.2 Ni(OH).4 H2O (CAS 12607-70-4). Did you take it into account for your synthesis recipe ?
There is a decanting operation. see NAP advancement
Any idea of the impact sensitivity of this? I've looked around and as you stated there is not much info floating around. Thanks.
The crystal size controls sensitivity. The large crystals are as sensitive as lead azide maybe more. If you stir while it's cooling, you will get smaller crystals less sensitive than lead azide. IMO, it is the best general purpose primary overall. I didnt want to like it because of aminoguanidine as the critical reagent, but after using it for 6 months or so, it became obvious its character and performance are like a swiss watch. IPA solvent version also appears less sensitive. I dont have an impact rig to compare.
@@duganashley1337 I actually found a channel using chloride instead of perchlorate and he has few clips of him hitting the crystals with a hammer. I would assume the perchlorate would be more sensitive. H68 is the channel.
@@duganashley1337have you tried dextrinating it like you would with LA or NHN?
I tested dextrin and CMC, they both seem to alter the complex and change yields. Crystal size can be controlled by stirring during cooling. 200 rpm gives similar powder to IPA solvent. @@chemistryofquestionablequa6252
When you use this stuff do you use a respirator or would you have to be in a comically small room and have allot of it go off to have the nickel carbonyl to affect you ?
hell yea
Why simply browse Youtube when you can get on that tenth consecutive gov Watch-List at the same time? lol
dude people said you werent right in the head anymore since your MS. you sound like a normal , intelligent dude with a bit of a slur in his speech. Keep fighting, brother
edit: hello, FBI. :)
I think I was drinking the day I made this video, which really makes me slur these days. The reason they said my head is broke is because they don't like the things I say about their slave masters

Ive been collecting them since age 5 like CubScout merit badges, one thang ya dont wanna do is try to find out how you cant get your name removed from any of those lists, that where the real banger then gets posted on yee....;)
-Nice thing about being on specific Govt watch lists is pop'n up as a 'Non Investigative Subject' on the F.B.I index. That being, that ANYTIME you get pulled ovah for anything, even common traffic stops, when they run your info through zee BORG system/Shit-stem, a:
"Handling Code #4 F.B.I 'Non- Investigative Subject' pops' up, within its proscribed box is:
"DO NOT Search, Detain, Arrest, Nor Issue ANY Citations Of Any Kind"....~So catch n' release so to speak.....
-I know, as Ive been there for quite some years now & its worked out quite well inna few instances, aside from other types of harassment/attacks Ive endured due to targeting, sometimes it makes on wonder if the juice is truly worth tha squeeze though!....Ha!...;)
