@Ethan Brock That's more an infrastructure problem though, if pressed we CAN feed and make space for more people, it's just that there's a lot of feet dragging and bureaucracy in the way right now, we've already got small scale LED grown crops and synthetically grown meats in the pipeline too.

This makes me wonder what kind of pressures the LHC creates. The collisions happen in tiny areas and they're travelling at near light speed when it happens.
@Zener Stanfill I dunno, call me stupid, but colliding particles into each other at light speed seems like a lot more of a force. It's strong enough to divide atoms. But, who cares anyway
The pressures are probably too extreme for scientists to be able to accurately measure them. Not to mention the fact that these pressures only exist for, like, only quadrillionths of a second.

The center of the earth is under extremely high pressure, because of it’s own weight being held together by gravity. At the center, you’d be crushed by the pressure. If you were somehow invincible, you’d just float around.
