Recorded at Sun Mountain Studios, Boiceville, NY.
Lovely sound. And my heart swells with compassion when I see the dust on the rotary knobs and the couple of broken buttons.
My favorite modular synth of all time. It can make music as well as noise! Those fat oscillators had unparalled tracking back in its day and the 1047 Multi-mode filter was one of the best filters ever made.
The only fault is it's not long enough. Nice to see someone who knows how to use a mixsequencer too.
this is SO good! One of the best things i've heard, amazing work!
This is magical.
Wow! This was really beautifully done!
As used on the first track of Elton John's 1973 album, Goodbye Yellow Brick Road amongst many others. Programmed by the recording engineer, David Hentshell. You can listen to this brilliant 2500 track in surround sound on the latest edition of that album.
Wow!!!! This is amazing sounding!!!! Nice videography as well!
This is fantastic. Great arrangement, excellent programming and very nice videography.

Beautiful music.

So beautiful
superb video and a wonderful piece of music David full of analog richness oozing from a beautiful old 70s Arp 2500 fuzzy warm almost tube like electronics. love it big time.
thank you so much! i really appreciate it.
The only criticism I have is that I wish this piece was longer. Much longer.
I have been considering doing longer pieces on the Arp 2500- maybe even an EP.
simply marvelous

Arp 2600 is a fart compared to this. With a huge respect for 2600 too obviously.

I wish someone would do a walkthru of how the 2500 works, in particular the various sequencing options. But owners are probably too busy making nice music like this to find the time :-)

I have been wanting to do an Arp 2500 walkthru for awhile. It's just a matter of time...The Arp Foundation would support it as it helps keep interest in these historic instruments.

@hainbach did that recently!
