I have no idea man. They pay people big bucks to make sure they do stuff right, but they still fail miserably on a lot of things.
I love guns. I own a lot of guns, and I shoot a lot. Some actors gun handling skills are just atrocious. They are playing some ex-navy seal space shuttle door gunner who can kill someone with a toothpick, but they can't properly hold a gun. Keanu Reeves has good gun handling skills.
I also do lock picking as a hobby. I ALWAYS see some douche in a movie pull out two picks to open a lock. There would be no room in the key way for two picks. Then they just wiggle them around for a few seconds, and BAM...the lock opens. That's not how it works either. You have to line up the bitting. Some locks have security features that make it difficult or impossible to pick. Not all locks can be opened with standard picks. You need specialized lock picks or devices.
I can also tie actual stitches. Oh, and it's impossible to stitch yourself up on your arms, or back. You need two hands to tie the stitch.

There are a lot of chloroform-related jokes down in this comments section, and while they're pretty funny, this is a place for science, so it's time to inject some truth directly into your eyeballs:
Rendering someone unconscious with chloroform is nothing like you would see in a crime drama. It takes at least 5 minutes(but probably more like 10min) of continuous inhalation of chloroform to anaesthetize a person.

@Earl of Destruction No chloral hydrate is not easy to make in practice. There were people on sciencemadness trying it and mainly failing or getting low yields. Chloral butanol is much better of a choice since it is a lot easier to make. Acetone and chloroform and a bit of NaOH. A lot more damaging to the liver but hey who needs that thing?
