This is the full synthesis of DAAF from glyoxime and it took me ages to do, so enjoy this video (yes I am demanding your enjoyment) Patrons (10+ dollars): Samonie67 Braveskin Patrons (3+ dollars): Liam Leon Explosions&Fire KW PC UNOFFICIAL Patreon: https://www.patreon.com/ReactiveChem Instagram: reactive_chem Discord: https://reactivechem.tk/ Bitchute: https://www.bitchute.com/channel/UNmp1lkLREH8/ Paper: https://cdn.discordapp.com/attachments/664962610722242576/733101616621813896/energetic_glyoxime_and_diaminofurazan_derivatives.pdf Glass breaking video: https://youtu.be/tGqVMbAQhBs
This actually some pretty sick home chemistry
Fuck yeah you used the pressure cooker bomb reactor
Nice video
Wondering about the pressure rxn, and I saw a while back that someone sells a glass pressure "flask" on Amazon or eBay or some shit. Was like $50 I think. Screw on cap and was lookin hella thicc. Maybe check that out?
Eh I already bought the pressure reactor so at this point I don’t need another one but yea I’ll definitely look at it
I've recently synthesized DAG using microwave(300Watt ~3min). A vigorous reaction (bubbling lots of ammonia gas, collecting the gas is recommend) occurred closed to the end, and i just took it out of the microwave oven and it took 3~5min to subside, after the reaction subsided, large quantity of DAG crystal is visible.(but it looked like yellowish glyoxime at that time (small crystals or plate shaped crystals), i confirmed that product is DAG after recrystallizing it from hot water, it forms more 3D feeling crystal then glyoxime(2D thin plate))
Today, i've just tried DAG->DAF via microwave, I spent hours in front of a 900 watt microwave and controlling the boiling (I set the power at about 800 watts), after 36min(and 2~3hours of waiting) in the microwave, the solution looked pale yellow. I took it out of the microwave and let it cool. The crystal didn't form at room temp. After I put it into the freezer for ~30min or more, the solution turned very thick and small needle shaped crystals formed in large quantity. The crystal shape is different from those of DAG's or glyoxime's. I haven't confirm that the product is DAF. I have to test it.
I hit the like button, i dare not do it before. After sharing this post, i know i'm in, therefore hitting the like button would make anything worse. It's really a good video!
Note: (1)Very large amount of ammonia gas evolved near the endpoint of DAG synthesis process, doing it in a well vent. space or collecting of gas is recommended.
(2)I added some water into the reaction flask when the water level had become lower in both reaction.
(3)During the DAF synthesis, the solution boiled after being put into the microwave for 5~6sec, and one should stop the oven and let the solution rest for ~30sec. (And this is the main reason why this took me hours)
(4)Little amount of ammonia is evolved during the synthesis of DAF
(5)I have not yet confirmed that my final product is DAF.
(6)My procedure is from this paper https://journals.sagepub.com/doi/pdf/10.3184/0308234054213500.
Very epic video
I always enjoy your video's. Well done.
What literature did you read to know how to do this energetic compound (and other materials)?
Sciencemadness publications "Glyoxime, Diaminofurazan and some Energetic Derivatives".
Nicely done, sir!
I have a question. Where are all your azide and tetrazoles videos ? Did you upload them somewhere else ?
Ok so a while ago youtube took down 30 of my videos so they are permanently gone from YouTube, however I was able to recover a few of them and upload them on bitchute, which is linked in the description.
Very interesting!
Chemist, buying steal pipe with end caps. Then you make a steal pressure cooker. You are now on a serious watch list.
Oh I’ve been on one for a while
@@reactivechem7408 Aren't we all ;)
The real watchlist is the youtubers we met along the way:))))
We're all on watchlists wouldn't be surprised if I was on a nofly list too.
Awesome!
Whats it used for?
Did part 2 get struck down?
Not yet
Thank you for the video!
Now I can go back to dreaming about reagents, that I can't buy.
Impatience is a sin indeed
We all learned it in the hard way
Intriguing
Indubitably
“That’s not good”
Why is this age restricted? Based on community guidelines
I didn’t set it as so which means youtube doesn’t like it very much, which is weird because there isn’t a single explosion or even fire in this video. Honestly I hate YouTube with all their censorship on a supposedly “video sharing” site
@@reactivechem7408 ok
No, no experiment on kitty.
My kitty would never get experimented on
@@reactivechem7408 that sounds like a challenge
Uh oh
fu roxanne roxanne!!!
