General Instructions

• Listed below are links to homework for each topic we cover in class (the homework pages can also be accessed from the "main" page, under the "Q" link).

• I do NOT require you to do all the questions you find on the web pages (I am collecting more questions than I need for any given semester). Below are specific questions or parts of questions I would like you to do for the current class. Of course, feel free to attempt other questions if you like the look of them and/or feel you need more practice to gain confidence in the topic.

• I am giving DEADLINES with each topic -- please adhere to them.

• I expect your work to be relatively COMPLETE as well as NEAT & LEGIBLE. For questions which require mainly writing, please provide answers using Word or LaTEX or other word processor. I do NOT expect you to do that for numerical or algebraic answers.

• Here are some general requests for calculations. Use 3 sig figs throughout (no unnecessary precision or over truncation); show how you derive your results; put a box around a final answer that's explicitly requested; check your answers make intuitive sense, and if not go back and find the mistake.

• A "Print" button at the top returns a pdf version of the homework, though you will need to work from the web page occasionally to download files, etc.
