Meteor 1500C

The fully coherent METEOR 1500C offers high accurate Doppler processing and clutter suppression because the transmitter and receiver always act on the same phase reference information.

Being a high-end klystron system, the METEOR 1500C offers phase/frequency modulation or pulse compression techniques and thus clutter suppression, sampling speed or range resolution can be improved. A klystron system together with a coherent receiver may offer up to 20 dB improvement in stability and clutter suppression compared to coaxial magnetrons.

The transmitter RF pulse duration can be selected in steps of 50 ns. However, it should be noted that the receiver needs to be matched to the transmitter pulse width.
