Type 424
The Type 424 was designed as an X-Band approach guidance, surveillance and weather radar, which provides both talk-down facilities and airport supervision in one unit. It was originally designed and used as a marine radar, designated as Type 424N, especially for periscope detecting.
Royal Air Force gave the name ACR 7D to their version of the 424, with minor modifications.
