S 303 (Marconi)
The S 303 (Marconi) (AMES Type 88 Tactical Control Radar) was a dual frequency band radar system from the early 1960s developed for the Royal Artillery's English Electric Thunderbird VR 725 SAM system. The S 303 antenna comprising a pair of parabolic dishes mounted back to back. One of these was S-Band and the other was L-Band. In British Army service this radar was called AD 11.
