SR-3

The SR-3 is an operating in X-Band solid-state Surface Movement Radar (SMR) and complies with applicable Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) and EUROCAE standards with raw video output in industry standard ASTERIX CAT-240 format. The radar will facilitate the detection of non-cooperative targets or obstacles, such as ground vehicles and aircraft. SR-3 uses two fully redundant transmit/receive channels.

The nominal antenna of SR-3 is a circularly polarized, slotted waveguide with a gain of 37 dB. It provides an inverse cosecant-squared beam pattern width a beamwith of 10 degrees in elevation angle. The SR-3 is also fully compatible with multiple types of antennas, making it ideal for replacement of legacy systems where the antenna does not need to be replaced. The radar uses an open architecture design with industry-standard interfaces for easy integration into air traffic control systems.
