TRS 2620 « Gerfaut »
The TRS 2620 « Gerfaut » is an operating in S-Band modular, solid-state, short-range battlefield primary surveillance radar. TRS 2620 has a truncated parabolic reflector antenna with integral IFF-antenna. It is is designed to provide surveillance, early warning, target acquisition and target designation for SHORADS and VSHORADS.
The radar's modularity facilitates its installation aboard a variety of vehicle types. The modification TRS 2630 has a larger planar-array antenna that increases performance in detection range (up to 30 km) and with respect to electronic countercountermeasures (ECCM). Apart from the antenna, the TRS 2620 and TRS 2630 are the same system.
