Type 965
The Type 965 was an operating in VHF-Band long-range early warning suveillance radar designed primarily to be fitted in destroyers and frigates. Type 965 used the AKE-2 “double-bedstead” antenna. The antenna weighed 2.5 tons, was 26 feet wide, 17 feet high and just over 6 feet deep. On top of the antenna was mounted the antenna of the Type 1010 interrogator, using the standard Mark Ⅹ.
