ELM-2125
The ELM-2125 is an operating in KU-Band advanced Airport Surface Detection Radar (ASDE) for collision avoidance and for surveillance of obstacles on the airfield. This high-resolution radar provides short-range surveillance information on moving and stationary aircraft and vehicles on runways and taxiways of airports.
The radar was developed before 1995 and was an example that military technology could also be used for civilian projects.
