Antennae for ATC Radars EA5025
The british easat company offer this lower cost PSR which is a composite antenna, capable of accepting a co-mounted MSSR and capable of meeting full ICAO performance levels. This is designated the EA5025 and uses the same turning unit with dual redundant motors as the ASR-E.
The EA5325 shaped reflector radar antenna is designed to provide local or terminal area coverage using a modified cosecant-squared elevation pattern. A dual beam receive capability is given to enhance high angle performance and minimise short-range ground returns. Polarisation switching between Linear and Circular is provided on both main and auxiliary beam and a cross polarised output is available on both beams that is used as a receive weather channel.
Easat also offer tactical or transportable versions of the EA5025 antenna and also a transportable version of the EA5325 antenna which is in use with the Royal Australian Air Force.
