SPS-95K

SPS-95K is a lightweight, G-Band low-volume surface search and navigation radar suitable for installation aboard destroyers, frigates and corvettes. The equipment comprises an antenna, transceiver and a remote control unit and is described as making extensive use of solid-state technology. Electronic counter-countermeasures provision includes pulse repetition frequency jitter, sector radiation, sensitivity time control, fast time constant, automatic/manual gain and frequency control, pulse interference suppression and constant false alarm rate. Available interfaces comprise video (four outputs), indicator trigger (two), Identification Friend-or-Foe (IFF) trigger (two outputs - SPS-95K incorporates an integral IFF capability), blanking trigger (two), antenna turning signal and gyro.
