DA 05
The DA 05 (abbreviation of Dutch words: Doels Aanwijzing, i.e. target indication) was an operating in S-Band naval radar for medium-range surveillance and target indication.
The antenna has a high gain and a narrow beamwidth. It forms a Cosecant-squared pattern up to an elevation angle of 40 degrees. A lightweight hydraulic antenna stabiliser was available. The DA05 transmitter used a tunable coaxial magnetron. The receiver was fitted with Moving Target Indication (MTI), video processing and interference suppression circuits.
