Jawor-M2
The Jawor-M2 (other Polish designators: RO-52 or JUSTYNA-P) is an operating in L-Band 2D air surveillance and fighter guidance radar produced since 1971 by Radwar (Warszawskie Zakłady Radiowe). The primary task of the system was to locate airborne targets and determine their coordinates.
The radar set consisted of three trucks Tatra T-148 - carrier antenna group and two trucks with a container and five trailers. The parabolic antenna had a size of 16 m.
The prototype was built in 1966. Until 1988 about 50 pieces were built. In the year 2002 a modernization took place including: upgraded signal processing systems, original PPI-screen replaced by flat color displays, and added network capability.
