Ratac S
The Ratac S (abbr: RAdar de Tir pour L`Artillerie de Campagne, engl: radar for field artillery fire) is an operating in X-Band multipurpose battlefield surveillance and target acquisition radar. It is a highly mobile, coherent-on-receive pulse-Doppler radar with a monopulse antenna configuration. It combines a medium range battlefield surveillance with a high precision artillery fire-control system within one radar set.
More than 300 Ratac S radars have been sold worldwide. After the dissolution of the Alcatel company licenses for the replication were assigned to several foreign companies, i.a. at Aselsan (Turkey).
