ST1802
The ST1802 is an operating in X-Band monopulse tracking radar. It is compact and rugged equipment designed to provide data for fire control for naval guns and was the successor to the magnetron -powered ST802 fire-control radar.
The Radar uses a Cassegrain antenna with a diameter of 1 m. It is fed by a quadruple subdivided monopulse horn.
The ST1802 uses a fully coherent transmitter and produces true random frequency agility across a wide bandwidth. The poweramplifier is fitted with a Traveling Wave Tube.
The receiver got 3 independent channels for the Sum-Signal, the difference in Azimuth, and the difference dhannel in elevation.
ST1803
ST1803 was introduced to keep abreast of the changing threats anticipated for the 1990s. Its antenna group is fitted with an optronics package comprising a televison camera, and/or infrared thermal imaging camera and laser rangefinder. This features improved reaction times and a wide range of electro-optical and other auxiliary tracking devices.
